And we LOVE our friends at our NEW location – PARLOR Bar & Kitchen – THANK YOU for bringing us to the ground floor where even more of us can celebrate BIKE PROGRESS. We can’t wait for this party!
There’ll be singing, dancing, thrilling and chilling – and lots of great food and drink as we celebrate Bike Newport and fundraise for the PUMP TRACK at the Big Blue Bike Barn!

What’s this Pump Track, you ask? Well, just as we’re breaking ground, cutting doors, designing gardens, planning the murals and trails for our spring buildout at the Big Blue Bike Barn – the Housing Authority has generously DOUBLED the land they’re making available to us. Talk about partners! Why? Because they know that our young people STILL need a place to ride and play away from cars – and what better place than a PUMP TRACK?
The kids are too stoked for words – and so are we – so let’s build this thing!
And yes – of course, YOU can ride there, too! we’ll just let the kids go first 🙂
The Pump Track will make a great thing even better – The Bike Barn already has work underway for program areas and shelter from the sun. For solar panels and community gardens and a connecting trails into Miantonomi Park. Now we’ve added a Pump Track to the plan.
This is all thanks to YOU – our fellow dreamers and doers – and your support and enthusiasm. And we couldn’t be more grateful.
So COME TO BIKE NEWPORT NIGHT and CELEBRATE.
