At Bike Newport, we believe that a bicycle can do more than change your commute. It can change your neighborhood, your family, your world, and your future. Watch this video and share in our vision for Newport. Every year we aim to make Newport a better, safer place to bike—with your help. Our goals for 2018 depend on your support. Together, we make it happen. The kids are waiting.
LET’S MAKE OUR STREETS SAFER.
Pedestrian. Bicyclist. Motorist.
All on the move. All going places.
Let’s get there safely with a wave!
2017 was an amazing year of progress and we have you and all of our partners, supporters and participants to thank. We reached our end of year campaign goal of $25,000 which was matched by a generous donor! With a successful campaign we’re ready to take on the New Year with continued progress on the First Mile Bikeway, city infrastructure, safe road sharing education, and so much more.
Leave your car and get on your bike before you ever get to downtown. Learn more here.
Check out our routes and maps page to get to know the City and to choose your route along the most suitable roads for bikes.
Newport Waves is a new campaign to make the city’s streets safer. The proposition is for all road users – pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, skateboarders, and others – to acknowledge one another with a simple, intuitive, and friendly gesture. A “Newport Wave.” Watch the video here!
