Maria Figueras

Bicycle Safety Educator & Mechanic

As a child in Puerto Rico, Maria remembers riding bikes around her neighborhood with her family and friends. Maria spent some of her childhood between New England and Puerto Rico. She attended Rogers High School where she was a basketball star, and received a scholarship from the Newport County Boys and Girls Club to attend Salve Regina University. When she graduated from college, she taught Spanish for five years. She's worked in the Human Services field for over 20 years and is excited to learn more about bicycle mechanics and safety, and educating our community. During her free time, she enjoys nature and hanging out with her family.
