Just back after a car-free Fulbright year in Norway, Tim loves to ride his go-anywhere classic Dutch bike and has supported Bike Newport’s fantastic work since the very beginning. While teaching, consulting, and presenting in schools and universities all over the world he has enjoyed a fresh eye on the wonderful possibilities for cycling and life outdoors, from rowing on the Olsofjord and sailing in Newport to skiing on Russia’s frozen Volga River and sledding behind a reindeer through Lapland. With a wish for us all to get outside, Tim can’t wait to promote the efforts of the Bike Newport team and help bring the education, safe cycling infrastructure, and thriving community that can make our one-of-a-kind city by sea so enjoyable.
