From the first arrival of cycling commuters to the end-of-day Community Bike Fair, it’s going to be a great kickoff to a season of more and better bicycling in Newport. Please REGISTER HERE – whether you are a Cyclist, an Employer or a Bike Fair VENDOR. You’ll also find all you need to encourage your friends, colleagues and employees to join in. So leave your car home! or if you’re a bridge commuter, leave your car at the Newport Grand! Find out what it means to cycle smart, safe and healthy! 6am-10am: “Park & Bike” available for Bridge Commuters and long-distance commuters at Newport Grand Slots on Admiral Kalbfus Road. Back road map into town will be provided.
6am-10am: Welcome Breakfast at Great Friends Meeting House
1pm: Press Conference on the steps of City Hall
4pm: Community Bike Ride, starting from Great Friends Meeting House and ending at King Park
5pm-730pm: Community Bike Fair at King Park
