Newport Oyster and Chowder Festival, May 16th-17th, 11am-6pm
The Newport Oyster & Chowder Festival is proud to partner with Bike Newport and the “Get There By Bike” initiative to provide high capacity bike racks, maps, routes, and information for this event. Leave your car outside of Newport, skip the parking hassles, and bike to the 10th Annual Newport Oyster and Chowder Festival at Bowen’s Wharf! In doing so, you are decreasing traffic congestion, carbon emissions, and contributing to a more sustainable, healthy community.

Bike parking for the Newport Oyster & Chowder Festival at Bowen’s Wharf is located near the entrance to Market Square. Look for the Get There By Bike Flag! There are additional bike racks located on America’s Cup and in Queen Ann’s Square, but they tend to fill up quickly.
Park & Bike
Coming from out of town? No problem. You can park and leave your car anywhere in Newport where long-term parking is permitted (be sure to check signs for restrictions), or you can head straight to Newport’s designated Park & Bike lots. See the routes below!
