Newport Pride Festival & Parade, June 27th, 11am-5pm
The Newport Pride Festival & Parade is proud to partner with Bike Newport and the “Get There By Bike” initiative to provide high capacity bike racks, maps, routes, and information for this event. Leave your car outside of Newport, skip the parking hassles, and bike to the Great Friends Meeting House after the parade for day of art, music, drag performances, food, and other activities! By doing so, you are decreasing traffic congestion, carbon emissions, and contributing to a more sustainable, healthy community.

Bike parking for the Newport Pride Festival & Parade is located on the lawn in front of the Great Friends Meeting House. Look for the Get There By Bike flag! There are additional bike racks along Broadway.
Park & Bike
Coming from out of town? No problem. You can park and leave your car anywhere in Newport where long-term parking is permitted (be sure to check signs for restrictions), or you can head straight to Newport’s designated Park & Bike lots. See the routes below!

Helpful Tips for biking to the Newport Pride Festival & Parade
- Bring LIGHTS, a LOCK, and a HELMET.
- Ride carefully, follow rules of the road, pay extra attention to motorists, and give yourself time to get there safely.
- Newport is known for its history and beauty – less so for the condition of the roads. Watch for pot holes and ruts!
