Cycle Friends Newport

April 23, 2025

Cycle Friends Newport is a community of people who enjoy riding bikes together, and learning how to maintain them. We focus on good health and well-being, safety, and friendship, and we invite new and beginner riders to learn how to take care of their bike, bike safety skills and getting comfortable on a bike.

If you are getting back on your bike after a long time – perhaps never been on a bike or perhaps not even since you were a child – but want to give it a try, then this is for you. We support and learn from each other while having fun and being active.

  • We’ll gather to learn together, discuss any concerns and hesitancies, build your riding confidence, and even teach you how to keep your bike running perfectly.
  • Bring your bike, or you can borrow one from our collection.
  • Once you feel confident enough, we’ll go on group rides together down the bike path and focus on safety on the roads, socializing and having fun while riding.

We’d love to see you there!
