Your Feedback is Needed on Transportation Plan

May 18, 2022

Let’s Keep Newport Moving! The City of Newport wants our feedback.

The City has released proposed recommendations for the Newport Transportation Master Plan and they are interested in our feedback. Please visit the survey and interactive webmap and encourage friends and family to do the same. By sharing feedback, we can build a collective vision for safe, connected, and convenient transportation getting to and traveling around Newport!

Learn and share more:

May 21st: Look for the Keep Newport Moving information at Elliot’s Ride for Everyone.

* June 2nd: Bike Newport will host a special public meeting with Keep Newport Moving from 5:30 to 7pm at Thompson Middle School.  This meeting will discuss the needs and interests of bicyclists, pedestrians, bus riders, people who depend on bus, people who don’t own cars, and organizations that support these populations.

Additional opportunities to learn about the proposed plan:

Open Houses
Tuesday, May 17: 5:30-7pm @ Newport Library
Wednesday, May 18:  5:30-7pm @ Pell Elementary
