Don’s love of cycling began as a child, learning to ride and feeling the wind in his hair (no helmet back then). His bike gave him freedom to be out, go places and to do for himself independently. These days, Don loves cycling as a healthy way to tour, socialize and to get around. “It’s good for me and for the environment. Giving back to Bike Newport is a perfect fit for me. The organization is an agent for change in all the right directions. My values align with this non-profit in every way and I just want to help by mustering resources and volunteering my time. The people I’ve met through Bike Newport are amazing and this is the right journey for me."
