In moving to Washington, DC to attend graduate school and in contending with the traffic, Mark quickly learned the joy and freedom of bike commuting. Upon graduation, Mark started working for REI in their cycling department, quickly rising through the ranks to become the senior shop mechanic. He is a recent RI “washed ashore”, looking forward to exploring the state through biking, hiking, and kayaking.
