We’re Hiring a Communications Manager

Do you know a bike-friendly communications expert? Someone who has a creative command of social media? An excellent writer who is also talented with photos and graphics? Someone who likes to make the case for things they believe in? We’re looking for that person!

This new member of our team will be experienced in multi-faceted communications, including social media, journalism, and graphic design. They will bring a culturally-competent lens to their work, helping to build equity in our organization and our community. They will understand that bicycles are a transportation and social solution, will want to engage people in bicycle friendly progress, and will be experienced in using social media and other communications methods to achieve these goals. Command of Spanish is a highly desirable skill for this position. 

Valued traits for this role include being organized, flexible, energetic, creative, self-directed, team-oriented, and able to multitask. Professional skills should include creative writing, graphic design, and social media management. Technical knowledge should include: Microsoft Office, WordPress, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, Canva, Asana, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Hootsuite.
