Hyatt Newport encourages our guests to discover beautiful Newport by bike. Guests may bring their own bikes or use one made available through our activities department. Guests may also participate in a guided 10-mile bike tour around Ocean Drive.
The Newport Visitors Center has bike racks ready to accommodate riders as they come in to cool off, or warm up, use the facilities, grab water or a snack, buy tickets for attractions and events, book reservations, find visitor information, or pick up a free bike map. Cyclists who look to bring their bikes to Newport by vehicle can park at the Visitors Center (for a fee) or take bike-friendly RIPTA buses. We’re celebrating the center’s 25th anniversary this year, and are proud that cyclists have always been welcome!
