Powered by Prince is a funding program of Newport Hospital that has one goal – getting kids healthy(er) by increasing physical activity. Since Bike Newport began running programs for youth in 2012, Powered by Prince has generously supported our growth in Newport’s North End. From our original 20′ container to our current one-acre campus – land generously made available by the Newport Housing Authority – Powered by Prince has been our partner. This week we’ll be receiving the fleet of bikes and inventory of (very cool) helmets that Powered by Prince funded for our kids to ride the tracks and trails of the Big Blue Bike Barn and Miantonomi Park.
