Jim is recently retired from a sales career with IBM and Oracle and has been a Newport resident since 2016. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves skiing, gardening, hiking/backpacking, and, of course, cycling! Jim is the proud dad of Daniel and Laura, and delighted granddad of Nora and Annie, and another on the way! Jim’s goals as a Bike Newport board member are to enhance knowledge and safety for all cyclists, and to advance the understanding that people biking, driving and walking are all part of the same ecosystem.
