You can park and leave your car anywhere in Newport where long-term parking is permitted (be sure to check signs for restrictions), or you can head straight to Amica Newport Marathon’s dedicated runner lots at Second Beach or the Aquidneck Corporate Park and bike in from there. Additionally, you can check out more general Park and Ride information HERE.

Second Beach Lot to Easton’s Beach Lot (Start and Finish) – 2.6 miles ~ 15 minutes

Helpful Tips

for biking to the Amica Newport Marathon and Half Marathon

  • Bring LIGHTS, a LOCK, and a HELMET. Lights help make you SAFE and VISIBLE.
  • Ride carefully, follow rules of the road, pay extra attention to motorists, and give yourself time to get there safely.
  • Newport is known for its history and beauty – less so for the condition of the roads. Watch for pot holes and ruts!
  • If you would like to support Bike Newport’s vital nonprofit community work, you can donate HERE. Many thanks!
