On Friday, May 23rd, at the Power of Place Summit at the RI Convention Center in Providence, Bike Newport was honored with the 2014 award for Outstanding Leadership in Smart Growth, presented by Grow Smart RI. We were joined by our partners and supporters to accept the award. It was a wonderful day and delightful recognition of the importance of bicycling as an indicator and driver of quality of life, quality of place, and smart urban growth. Progress all around!
