Biking in Newport
Newport, Rhode Island is a beautiful, historic seaside city that is infinitely better enjoyed outside of a car or tour bus. Summer festivals, fall foliage, winter holidays, spring flowers – every season of the year the air is salty and the history is palpable. Bike Newport aims to provide our residents and visitors the ability to safely and confidently experience Newport from the saddle of a bicycle. After all, we are the birthplace of the League of American Bicyclists and the recipient of a Bicycle Friendly Community award! We intend to honor that heritage – and we are confident in the progress that we’ve made and in the many possibilities that lie ahead.
