Have Fun and Help Make Two Car-Free Community Rides Glorious!

Sun. May 19: Elliot’s Ride for Everyone, Newport
Spread the word – the more the merrier!
The first event is our 2nd Annual Farm to Farm Bike Ride in Portsmouth on Saturday May 11. We’re looking for marshals to help direct walkers and riders, and others to help with set-up, registration, and break-down. Volunteers need to arrive by 9 a.m. at the registration area, located behind Escobar’s Farmhouse Inn on Middle Road (across the street from the mailbox for 133 Middle Road). Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt.
The second event is Elliot’s Ride for Everyone on Sunday May 19 along Hazard Road and Ocean Avenue in Newport a.k.a. Scenic Ocean Drive. For the first time, this ride will take place in May, and be completely car-free for two hours, starting from Rogers High School (15 Wickham Road). We’re looking for road marshals for this event, as well as people to help with set-up, registration, and break-down. Volunteers need to arrive by 8 a.m. at Rogers High School. We’re also looking for experienced riders to assist with a bike caravan leaving from Bike Newport HQ, 62 Broadway at 8 a.m. Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt.
