Several of our programs empower young people to get where they want to go, giving them the tools they need to bike safely, make their own repairs, and launch their independence.

Bike Newport’s group rides spread love of cycling and give riders of all abilities the confidence to build their own routes and enjoy the benefits of getting out on two wheels to the beach, among the daffodils, and under the light of the moon!
Our comprehensive initiative Ride Island takes community leaders for off-site experiences, and leads informative bike/walk audits – all leading to planning safer bicycle infrastructure by gathering community input and proactive collaboration with our municipal and state staff and elected officials.
