about Improvements to Transit on Aquidneck Island

When: Monday, January 13th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm

Where: Newport Gateway Center / RIPTA Bus Hub
Aquidneck Adult Learning Center
23 America’s Cup Avenue, 2nd Floor

Getting There:
The meeting is conveniently taking place at the Gateway Center in Newport – home to the RIPTA bus hub. Off-season parking is FREE in the municipal lot on site.

Plus: Optional post-meeting social gathering at Fastnet Pub 1 Broadway Newport 🍻

ABOUT THE MEETING:

Rhode Island Transit Riders (RITR) is holding this forum, the second in a statewide series, to review proposed transit improvements, transit needs, and statewide advocacy to implement Rhode Island’s Transit Master Plan (TMP). Download the TMP HERE.

Rhode Island Transit Riders is an independent grassroots group fighting to preserve, expand, and improve public transportation in Rhode Island.

This meeting is hosted in partnership with Bike Newport, Newport Health Equity Zone, and Grow Smart Rhode Island.
