Born at the old Navy Hospital, Jed learned to ride a bike in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth, but wasn’t allowed to go any further. Years later while in grad school, his future-wife taught him the joys of bike commuting in London, and he hasn’t turned back since. Whether on roller trainers or riding in snowy Minneapolis, Jed loves cycling and believes in the mission of Bike Newport. As a theater maker and trained Alexander Technique teacher, he seeks balance and joy both in and out of the saddle.
