Born and raised on the island, Katie has been biking her entire life, embracing the freedom and adventure of life on two wheels. As a college student studying social work, she is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and supporting her community.
At Bike Newport, Katie assists with daily operations and visitor support, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for everyone who walks through the door. Fluent in Spanish, she takes pride in making cycling accessible to all and helping connect people with the resources they need.
With experience as both camper and staff at Summer Bike Camp with Bike Newport and FabNewport, Katie has seen firsthand how bikes can empower and bring people together. When she’s not riding through Newport’s scenic streets, she enjoys spending time with loved ones and exploring new video games.
