Nick, who lives in Portsmouth with his wife Sarah, got involved with Bike Newport as a volunteer repairing bikes a few years ago. He found Bike Newport's staff a pleasure to interact and work with, impressed that they all supported its goals so enthusiastically. They made him feel an equal part of the team.

Before moving to RI from Western Massachusetts, Nick worked as an educator, teaching engineering and technology, and also ran his own audio and communications business. As a volunteer, he served on the town planning board, parks and recreation committee, and economic development commission.

Nick is a big fan of the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, sailing, scuba diving and, of course, biking.
