Communications Manager

Robert is a writer and multimedia producer based in Cranston. A native Vermonter, Robert grew up cycling the rolling hills of the Champlain Valley with his family. He has written about cycling for Momentum Magazine, Adventure Cyclist, BBC Travel, Providence Monthly, and many other publications. His first feature documentary, “The Trail,” about his solo trip from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., along the Great Allegheny Passage, has aired on WQED public television. He is most recently the author of “Mile Markers: Essays on Cycling.”

“So much of life can be like riding a bicycle,” he writes in his essay, “The Right Gear.” “New roads remind us of old ones. Parts are tuned up. Long distances feel shorter the farther we go. At the crest of a long hill, we almost always look back, surprised at what we see.”
