Originally from Northern Virginia, where biking was neither a safe nor feasible mode of transportation, Tommie moved to Newport after college and was overjoyed by her newfound ability to ride her bike instead of always having to drive. "Riding my bike has been an invaluable part of how I've explored Newport and come to know this town as my home. Being able to ride my bike has been a very empowering experience, and it's something I want to help Bike Newport share with the community."
A lover of the outdoors, Tommie is passionate about biking as a sustainable transportation alternative. She is eager to help further Bike Newport's mission so more people can comfortably, safely, and sustainably get where they're going.
