“Get There by Bike” is a project to help people get to local destinations (like yours!) by bike – and we hope you’ll join the effort!

Step 2: Set up your BIKE PARKING

People will need a place to secure their bikes when they get to you. We’ve prepared a Bike Parking Guide for Businesses to answer questions and provide guidance.

Step 3: Display a “GET THERE BY BIKE” BANNER

We’ll provide the free banner – which lets people know you are an advocate for more biking and that you welcome people on bikes! The flags will be keepers for ongoing use and loaners for one-time use.

Step 4: INVITE, PROMOTE and ENCOURAGE people to bike to your happenings!

It’s key that your information to visitors explicitly states that they can get to you by bicycle. Have fun with it – include photos and opportunities for your visitors to share back.

We can help you make maps and provide suggestions and examples that will help you encourage your visitors to GET THERE BY BIKE! We will also help promote your event and add to your encouragement to Get There By Bike 👍🚴🏽‍♂️❤️

“Get There By Bike” promotes biking for transportation – to local events and destinations. In the process, we reduce traffic congestion (more people, less cars!) and support healthy fun experiences.
