Helpful Tips for biking to the Mansions

  • Bring LIGHTS, a LOCK, and a HELMET. Your lights will make you SAFE and VISIBLE.
  • Ride carefully, follow rules of the road, pay extra attention to motorists, and give yourself time to get there safely.
  • Newport is known for its history and beauty – less so for the condition of the roads. Watch for pot holes and ruts!

We’re continuously working to improve and encourage biking for everyone in Rhode Island and beyond – Thanks for being part of the solution!
