All Summer Long: Visit Historic Fort Adams

Whether you’re pedaling to the Folk Fesstival or the National Muster of Fifes and Drums, riding your bike to Fort Adams is the quintessential Newport experience. HERE is a link to the many activities taking place at Fort Adams State Park.

July 26-28: NEWPORT FOLK Aug 2-4: NEWPORT JAZZ

Be part of record breaking numbers!

It’s no secret that biking to Fort Adams is the best way to get to the Folk & Jazz Festivals – just ask one of the 1600 people who biked each day last year! People on bikes break music festival records every year at Newport Folk – when 16-18% of all attendees arrive by bicycle. Then we break our own records at Newport Jazz as we see numbers climb each year – trying to catch up to Folk!

HERE is all you need to know to bike to Folk and Jazz! festivals. Thanks to the Newport Police Department, there are several safety improvements to the bike routes this year – so please click through to be prepared.
